MINIATURE GOATS: Meet Henrietta, Hercules and Horatio!
These are special breed miniature goats who get along exceptionally well with the
chickens. Do the goats watch over the layer hens? We suspect
the hens take care of the goats.
HORSES: Meet Jasper, Coalie and Cocoa. Our horses have come
from different parts of the country and each have a unique breeding background.
Jasper is our beautiful yellow palamino and enjoys treats. Be careful
or he will try to eat your hat! Cocoa was rescued from the local racetrack
where he was beaten and ridden too young. He is now enjoying the freedom
of large green pastures and gentle handling. Coalie is our beloved Morgan
which is a smaller, but sturdy workhorse. If you want to read about

CATS: Meet Lucy - one of our youngest kittens with beautiful
blue eyes!
CATS: We have six beautiful cats at the Maynards. Our
cats live outside year round and even though they are "barn cats", we keep them
free of fleas and very healthy! This is the King
of our cats - Tuffy.
AUSTRALIAN SHEEP DOG: Meet Lulu - our very special girl from Down Under!
Lulu is just one year old and she knows how to round up all misplaced
chickens and goats. Lulu is especially helpful to keep owls away from
our chickens. The Owls occasionally attempt to swoop in and decapitate the
layer hens.
